The famous city of Edinburgh is incomparable as far its dramatic setting is concerned. Edinburgh is a pulsating city with abundant activities and festivities. It is most famous for the Edinburgh Castle which is regally positioned atop the volcanic crag of castle rock. Old Town of Edinburgh City

The Old Town has been granted this status owing to its unique buildings of reformation era, well preserved medieval buildings, sloping streets and tenement housings. This is a very striking festival with amalgamation of many festivals like film, book, jazz, music, dance, Military Tattoo and Fringe Festival. The Edinburgh Festival is a very popular and famous festival. Another popular event is the Hogmanay- the New Year Celebrations which begins at midnight with the sounding of the Castle’s canon. Revellers numbering in thousands throng the streets to welcome the New Year.
