Faroe Islands are also called as Faeroe Islands or Faeroes and are situated in Northern Europe, between the North Atlantic Ocean and Norwegian Sea. Faroe Islands are a group of 18 small islands that shine beautifully like green emeralds on a grey background. These islands seem to be tossed and pounded by the strong gales and seas. The Faroe Islands have a reputation of being remote, but they are not all that remote from various parts of Europe. These islands are sparsely populated and blessed with a rich musical heritage. Faroe Islands is the only place in Europe, where you are able to experience the authentic and lively, ancient dance form of the Vikings. This round-dance is very catchy and pure fun.
