Abu Dhabi has been described as the richest city of the world by CNN. It has excellent air connections and has an international airport by the name of Abu Dhabi International Airport. This is the second next busiest airport of UAE. You can also reach Abu Dhabi by first flying to Dubai and then, continuing the onward journey by bus or taxi. The highway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai is extremely well developed and it takes just two hours to reach Abu Dhabi from Dubai. You can get around Abu Dhabi by way of taxis or rental cars.
Abu Dhabi does not have many cultural or historical sights. The visitors may, however, attend the various cultural events that are held all round the year at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Centre. The centre has a fine library that is well-stocked, art exhibitions, children’s programs and benefit fundraisers. You must enjoy the high tea at the Emirates Palace, a luxury hotel on water. Abu Dhabi has a wide range of high-class hotels with excellent facilities for swimming and other activities like aerobics classes and dance lessons. Abu Dhabi is a paradise for shopaholics. You can enjoy excellent shopping opportunities at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall and Al Wahda Mall. Besides these malls, there are numerous other stores where you can shop for carpets, native jewelry, antiques, fabrics, clothing, fancy items, chocolates and electronic goods.
