Getting around Budapest is very easy as both Buda and Pest are split distinctively and there are about seven bridge connections along the River Danube including Arpad Bridge, Margaret Bridge, Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, Liberty Bridge, Petofi Bridge and Lagymanyosi Bridge. Budapest has well maintained pedestrian zones and this makes it easy to explore the city center on foot. The public transport network is well developed with yellow trams, red trolley buses, blue urban bus system and 3 metro lines.

Tourist Attractions

Budapest has several tourist attractions like the Royal Palace, National Gallery, Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, Music Museum, Military Museum, Historical Museum of Budapest, Pharmacy Museum, Marzipan Museum and Museum of medieval Judaism. All these places are located on the Castle Hill. There are many more interesting places in the Downtown Pest area and Buda Area. You will have many opportunities to witness opera and theatrical performances and attend various events and festivals. The spa experience in Budapest is also a must for all the travelers.
