The summer season is the high tourist season and there are many direct charter airlines operating flights from major European cities to Mykonos. You can get around on Mykonos Island by car, buses, taxis, ATV or scooters.

The landmark tourist attractions of Mykonos are the windmills and you must surely see these. Little Venice is an attractive district of Mykonos city and is renowned for its artistic colorful balconies. You can spot Petros the Pelican at the waterfront. Do not miss the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos which has extensive collection of vases form periods dating back to prehistoric times to first century BC, stelae, grave statues and Rheneia funerary arms. The various beaches worth watching include Agios loannis Beach, Paradise Beach, Super Paradise Beach, Psarou Beach, Platys Gialos Beach, Elia Beach, Paranga Beach and Omos Beach.
