Ronde van Vlaanderen cycle race
This is an annual cycle race which takes place in the month of April every year. Bruges happens to be the starting point of the race. This race is also the biggest sporting event held in the country.
The city is also full of football enthusiasts. The city is represented by two teams at the Jupiter league. Cercle Brugge K.S.V and Club Brugge are the two teams which play at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
