The shopping promenade in Plovdiv is among the best in Bulgaria and a very old amphitheatre which has been very well preserved.

Bulgaria also has a lot of fun destinations to offer to tourists and the city or the resort city of Varna is undoubtedly amongst them. Varna is a lovely beach city and the nightlife of Varna is said to be one of the best in Bulgaria. The northern part of Bulgaria is a huge hit with adventure tourists as the mountains present awesome opportunities for hiking and trekking as well as more adventurous sports like rock climbing and rappelling. One sight which is recommended to every tourist visiting Bulgaria is the Rila monastery. This monastery is a very beautiful one and one which attracts the maximum number of visitors.

The Black sea is also a very popular destination with scores of resorts and quaint little hotels lining the coastline. Bulgarian cuisine is sure to thrill most tourists and Bulgarian cuisine is highly similar to Greek or Turkish cuisine. Grilled meats are the staple of Bulgarian diet and olives and other vegetables are also used a lot in Bulgarian food and Bulgarian food is said to be highly good for health. Bulgaria is famous for mineral water springs and there are upwards of six hundred springs in the country. Tourists are advised to drink mineral water in Bulgaria.
