We rented a landrover for only 300 baht per day and would drive around the total region. So many great localises to eat, our loved spot was Ahan thai Aroy which had the most marvelous view over the beach, the staff was quite nice and the food so yummy, we went for sunset cocktails. My husband and I had a great time in <a href="http://www.pattaya-pattaya.org/" rel="nofollow">Pattaya City</A> and will be back for Easter. We booked and paid for 10 days in boutique hotels in Syria, had a catastrophically inefficient and hugely stressful run-up to the holiday, and ended up in 5-star hotels - which we specifically did not want - and with a whacking excess amount to cover it. We also rented a car and could explore the surrounding areas and see different beaches. The weather was great for October too.
